Meet Our Team
Paul A. Kennedy, III, M.S., D.D.S.
Dr. Kennedy, known as "Dr. Paul," is a graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. He received his certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. A native of Corpus Christi, Dr. Paul is a graduate of Mary Carroll High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Baylor University and his Master of Science degree from Texas A&M - Corpus Christi.
Dr. Paul is involved in many dental organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association and the Nueces Valley District Dental Society. He is a part-time adjunct professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He has also enjoyed serving on the Windsor Park Elementary School Planning and Decision Making Team.
Dr. Paul is an avid fisherman and sportsman. He grew up fishing with his dad and enjoys all of the outdoor activities that Corpus Christi has to offer. Dr. Paul says his goal is to "improve the oral health of the children of South Texas." He looks forward to serving our community for many years to come.
Paul A. Kennedy, Jr., D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Kennedy is a graduate of Baylor University College of Dentistry, where he earned his D.D.S. in 1967. Two years later, he received his M.S. from the University of Texas at Houston after completing his two-year residency in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Kennedy has been active in all levels of dental organizations. He served as president of the Nueces Valley District Dental Society and has represented them as a delegate to the Texas Dental Association. He has served as vice-president of the Texas Dental Association and has represented them as a delegate to the American Dental Association.
In his specialty, pediatric dentistry, he has been active at all levels of specialty organizations serving as president of the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
The American Academy awarded him Pediatric Dentist of the Year in 2004 and the Distinguished Service Award in 2014. He has also served as President of Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children, the Foundation of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
He has been a strong advocate for children’s oral health and is a consultant to the State of Texas on matters of children’s health.
William B. Haley, II, D.M.D.
Dr. Haley is a 1978 graduate of the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry. He then graduated from a one-year residency in general dentistry at Fort Jackson, S.C., and received his graduate training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Missouri and Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow in both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Society of Dentistry for Children. He is an active member in the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He retired from the U.S. Army following 27 years of service with 21 years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. Highlights of his military career include being the only military pediatric dentist for U.S. Forces - Korea, six years teaching pediatric dentistry to general dentistry residents in Ft. Hood, Texas and Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, and supervising the largest dental clinic in the military. Dr. Haley offers over 30 years of quality care for pediatric patients.
Dr. Haley and his wife, Linda, enjoy living in Corpus Christi. His daughter, Susan Haley, M.D.L., is a resident in Pathology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He is an active member of St. John's United Methodist Church.
Maria B. Tiefenbach, D.M.D.
Dr. Tiefenbach, also known as "Dr. T", is a 2001 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has a B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. She completed a general practice residency in 2002 at the Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut, focusing on the care of patients with compromised medical needs and extensive oral and maxillofacial trauma injuries. Dr. Tiefenbach then moved to Corpus Christi in 2003, and began working at Kennedy Dental Care's Alameda location as a general dentist. After developing a passion for working with children, Dr. Tiefenbach decided to further pursue her passion and began a pediatric dentistry residency in 2008. Dr. Tiefenbach received her certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Tiefenbach will continue to serve as a part-time adjunct professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Tiefenbach is an active member of many dental organizations. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Nueces Valley District Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Tiefenbach is currently Board Eligible for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Diplomate Status.
Dr. Tiefenbach has been married to her husband, Michael, for over 10 years. Michael is a U.S. Naval Aviator currently stationed at NAS Corpus Christi where he has been an instructor pilot for the past 7 years. They have a young son, Aiden, who keeps them busy with his activities of swimming and Tae Kwon Do. Dr. Tiefenbach's family enjoys cooking, exercising, going to the beach and pool, traveling, reading, and attending Yorktown Baptist Church. Dr. Tiefenbach and her family are just happy to be reunited and spending quality time together after her completion of the pediatric dentistry residency.
Nicole B. Pruitt, D.M.D
Dr. Pruitt, also known as "Dr. Nikki", is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and holds a degree in biology from Baylor University. After receiving her dental degree, she began a career as a dentist in the U.S. Navy. She completed a residency in general practice dentistry focused on the care of patients with compromised medical needs at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. After a tour in Okinawa, Japan, she returned to Texas to complete her graduate training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Following her training, she had the opportunity to be the Navy's pediatric dentist in Sicily, Italy. She returned to Texas after 10 years in the Navy Dental Corps to join Kennedy Dental Care. She remains active in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Texas Association of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Pruitt and her husband, James, have three beautiful young daughters that keep them very busy. She often shares the daily chaotic events of her own household with her patients and their families. She knows most of the popular kids TV shows, movies and toys by default so she can relate well to her young patients. Their family enjoys being actively involved at Yorktown Baptist Church where Dr. Nikki also helps with the Children's Ministry. She enjoys swimming, traveling, photography, and most of all, being a wife and mother.
Rosanna E. Puente, D.D.S.
Dr. Rosanna Puente is a graduate of Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry, where she also completed her pediatric dentistry residency. Prior to dental school, Dr. Puente graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, and earned a bachelor of science in biology.
Dr. Puente was born and raised in Corpus Christi and is a graduate of Incarnate Word Academy. After being away from South Texas for schooling, she is glad to finally be back and practicing in the pediatric dental office she grew up going to since she was a child.
Dr. Puente is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Nueces County A&M Club. She is currently a diplomatic candidate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Puente is a true Corpus Christian and loves to be in or near the water. She enjoys paddle boarding, golfing, traveling, cooking, rooting for her Texas Aggies, and spending time with her friends and family. She is excited and passionate about giving back and serving the community she grew up in.
Timothy A. Kuhlman, D.D.S.
Dr. Kuhlman graduated from Ohio State University College of Dentistry and completed the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio. Dr. Kuhlman spent 11 years in the Army with 2 tours of Germany. He met his wife, Nydia, while volunteering for Habitat for Humanity during his orthodontic training in San Antonio.
While stationed in Germany, Dr. Kuhlman and his wife visited 14 countries. Dr. Kuhlman and his wife have 2 sons and a daughter. They enjoy watching college football and college basketball games. Go Buckeyes! They also enjoy Friday night fireworks at the Hooks games and going on nature walks.
Dr. Kuhlman is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association and the Nueces Valley District Dental Society.
Kennedy Dental Care is thrilled to welcome Dr. Kuhlman's expertise to our practice. Dr. Kuhlman currently sees patients at our Saratoga and Calallen locations. Dr. Kuhlman looks forward to getting to know your family and helping create beautiful smiles.

Alissa M. Chapman, D.D.S.
Dr. Alissa Chapman was born and raised in Corpus Christi. She graduated from Richard King High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Trinity University. While attending Trinity, she became interested in Dentistry when she began assisting an Orthodontist part-time. She went on to graduate from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio- School of Dentistry.
Dr. Chapman was a devoted athlete throughout her childhood, and she continues to enjoy running, kickboxing, and playing basketball and tennis. She also loves to read and cook. She loves working with children and young adults and feels blessed to have a place at Kennedy Dental Care. She is extremely excited to be back in her hometown where she can take an active part in her community.
Annie Rothe, D.D.S.
Dr. Annie is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School. She was born and raised in Hondo, TX where she graduated from Hondo High School, and then went on to receive her undergraduate degree in Biology from Southwest Texas State University. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society.
Dr. Annie is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is very active in her community and her church. She is married to Dr. John DeKoch, and has one son, Mac.
Nancy Coll, D.M.D.
Dr. Nancy Coll studied dentistry at a French University in Montreal, Canada. After graduating, she moved to the beautiful Northeast territories for ten years. Dr. Nancy is down to earth, enthusiastic and strives to treat each patient with kindness and respect. She loves working with children and will do her best to ensure your child’s experience at the dentist is a great one. She is thrilled for this new adventure with Kennedy Dental Care and looks forward to meeting you.
