Dr. Kennedy, known as “Dr. Paul,” is a graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. He received his certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. A native of Corpus Christi, Dr. Paul is a graduate of Mary Carroll High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Baylor University and his Master of Science degree from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi.
Dr. Paul is involved in many Dental organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association and the Nueces Valley District Dental Society. He is a part-time adjunct professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He has also enjoyed serving on the Windsor Park Elementary School Planning and Decision Making Team.
Dr. Paul is an avid fisherman
and sportsman. He grew up fishing with his dad and enjoys all of the
outdoor activities that Corpus Christi has to offer. Dr. Paul says
his goal is to “improve the oral health of the children of South
Texas.” He looks forward to serving our community for many years to
come.
Dr. Kennedy has been active in all levels of dental organizations. He served as president of the Nueces Valley District Dental Society and has represented them as a delegate to the Texas Dental Association. He has served as vice-president of the Texas Dental Association and has represented them as a delegate to the American Dental Association.
In his specialty, pediatric dentistry, he has been active at all levels of specialty organizations serving as president of the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He was named Pediatric Dentist of the Year for the year 2004 for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He currently serves as President of Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children and The Foundation of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
He has been a strong advocate
for children’s oral health and is currently the state chair of the
Head Start Dental Home Initiative. In addition he continues to
lobby for improved children’s oral health in Texas and in
Washington.
Dr. Haley is a 1978 graduate of the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry. He then graduated from a one-year residency in general dentistry at Fort Jackson, S.C., and received his graduate training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Missouri and Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow in both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Society of Dentistry for Children. He is an active member in the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He retired from the U.S. Army following 27 years of service with 21 years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. Highlights of his military career include being the only military pediatric dentist for U.S. Forces – Korea, six years teaching pediatric dentistry to general dentistry residents in Ft. Hood, Texas and Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, and supervising the largest dental clinic in the military. Dr. Haley offers over 30 years of quality care for pediatric patients.
Dr. Haley and his wife, Linda, enjoy living in Corpus Christi. His daughter, Susan Haley, M.D.L., is a resident in Pathology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He is an active member of St. John’s United Methodist Church.
Dr. Pruitt and her husband, James, have three
beautiful young daughters that keep them very busy. She often
shares the daily chaotic events of her own household with her
patients and their families. She knows most of the popular kids TV
shows, movies and toys by default so she can relate well to her
young patients. Their family enjoys being actively involved at
Yorktown Baptist Church where Dr. Nikki also helps with the
Children’s Ministry. She enjoys swimming, traveling, photography,
and most of all, being a wife and mother.
Dr. Hanover is a graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School, where he received his degree with honors in orthodontics. Dr. Hanover offers over 25 years experience building beautiful smiles for his patients. He is dedicated to patient satisfaction and providing quality orthodontics at an affordable cost and in a friendly, positive atmosphere. Highlights of his practice include opening the first Military Children’s Dental Clinic in Korea, being the orthodontist for the Corps of Cadets at the United States Military Academy (West Point, N.Y.) and the orthodontic instructor at Fort Hood, Texas. As a veteran of the U.S. Army, he has served over 11 years overseas and lectured to international audiences in Belgium, Korea and Germany.
Dr. Hanover is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Military Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists and is an honorary member of the Hamil Dental Society in Seoul, Korea. Here, deep in the heart of Texas, he belongs to the Nueces Valley District Dental Society, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists and is past chairman of the Nueces Valley District DENPAC.
Dr. Hanover has been married
to his wife, Bobbye, for over 20 years.
Dr. Campbell received his undergraduate degree from North State University in Denton, TX. He received his dental degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, IL. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army Dental Corps for two years at Fort Hood, TX.
Following his military service he practiced in Athens, TX for 33 years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Sixth District Dental Society. He served as secretary and president of the Sixth District Dental Society.
Dr. Campbell and his wife,
Peggy, live in Rockport. Peggy is a native of Corpus Christi. They
have five children ad twelve grandchildren. He likes to spend his
spare time visiting with family and friends, fishing and traveling.
When he is not at the office on Alameda, Dr.
Nelson spends his time running down Ocean Drive, reading, and trying
to cook.
Dr. Alissa Hall was born and raised in Corpus Christi. She graduated from Richard King High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Trinity University. While attending Trinity, she became interested in Dentistry when she began assisting an Orthodontist part-time. She went on to graduate from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio- School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hall was a devoted athlete throughout her childhood, and she continues to enjoy running, kickboxing, and playing basketball and tennis. She also loves to read and cook. She loves working with children and young adults and feels blessed to have a place at Kennedy Dental Care. She is extremely excited to be back in her hometown where she can take an active part in her community. |
