Ronald R. Schlimmer, D.D.S. ~ Oral Surgeon
Dr. Schlimmer is a 1974 graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, he completed a residency in oral surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center. Dr. Schlimmer began practicing oral surgery in Corpus Christi more than 35 years ago when he, his wife, Tana, and their sons, Jeff and Greg, moved here from Indiana. He is a member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Academy of Osseointegration, the Texas Society of Oral Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Nueces Valley District Dental Society. Dr. Schlimmer loves his work in oral surgery and implant dentistry. But, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, is his favorite thing to do! Dr. Schlimmer’s favorite holiday is Christmas, and his hobbies include collecting Santas and traveling. One of the highlights of his many travels has been to ride his Harley in all 50 states.
Jia-Woei Wang, D.D.S., M.D.
Dr. Wang graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City after completing his undergraduate studies from the University of Texas at Austin. While in NYC, he longed to return home to Texas after dental school and was fortunate to have this opportunity when he entered the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio. During the course of residency, Dr. Wang graduated from the School of Medicine with a M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio, as well as completing rotations in general surgery and anesthesia. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, San Antonio Christian Medical and Dental Associations, and the Nueces Valley District Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Wang spends his time at the gym, in deep waters fishing, then subsequently in the kitchen cooking Taiwanese food.
